Responding to the consultation offers the best way of helping the proposals to succeed.
The results will be published, so if we don't give them our backing we make their job a lot harder, and we give MPs the wriggle-room they need to vote as they see fit, rather than vote for you. It can take as little as ten minutes.
You can also email them your views - if there is some aspect of the proposals that you feel could be improved then feel free to let them know! This is your chance to help shape the legislation.

It is crucial that MPs are made aware that their constituents are watching them. They are paid to work for you, so make sure they don't just vote for themselves.
We've put together a page logging all MPs views. If they are supportive, make sure to thank them! If they are against, make sure to ask why.
